I have been battling anal/rectal cancer for 2 years now. First, radiation and chemotherapy in 2009, then the cancer returned. Then I had major surgery in which my anal/rectal region, prostate gland, and bladder was removed, leaving me with two ostomy bags- colostomy and urostomy bags. Now, the surgery did not work and the cancer is once again back requiring ongoing chemotherapy. In the middle of all this I also suffered the loss of my young dependent son due to suicide in 2010.
With the cancer and effects of the chemotherapy, I have been unable to work and have no savings, investments, retirement funds, and no job for basic living and medical care needs.
